Undecidable Research is the name used by an independent, informal group of people collaborating on research in AI and computer science.
It works on machine reasoning, AI alignment, AI safety, and the limits of computation. These are four separate literatures, and the reason they sit together here is that each one asks a question about a system's behaviour that the system's description does not answer.
Undecidable Research exists to read papers together, run research projects in the open, and publish what we find.
Undecidable Research is the name used by people collaborating informally. No company or legal person has been incorporated or recognised, and the name is not entered in any register. There is no common fund, no property held by the group, and no payments or contracts in its name. Each person acts and remains responsible for themselves unless they specifically authorise someone else.
No headcount, no biographies, no founding story. None of that would tell you whether the work is any good, and the work is the only thing here worth judging.
No funding. No payments. No shared profits.
